BTS member and leader RM has been appointed as a public relations ambassador for the Ministry of National Defense Remains Excavation and Investigation Team, and will start activities related to veterans and veterans.
The Ministry of National Defense Remains Investigation Team held a public relations ambassador appointment ceremony at the Seoul National Cemetery in Dongjak-gu, Seoul.
RM (real name Kim Nam-joon), who attended the appointment ceremony, expressed his feelings about working as an ambassador for the remains discovery and detection group.
RM said, "I respect all those who sacrificed their lives to defend our country, and excavating the remains of the dead is the best example for them, so I feel a sense of pride and a great sense of responsibility."
He said, "As this is a nationally important project, we will strive to widely publicize the meaningful activities carried out by the Remains Excavation and Investigation Team at home and abroad with a great sense of mission."
The Ministry of National Defense's Remains Investigation Team explained that the reason for appointing BTS RM as a public relations ambassador was because it was consistent with improving the dignity of the country.
The Remains Excavation and Investigation Team carries out a veterans' project to excavate the remains of fallen Korean War veterans and send them to their families.
RM, who is appointed as a public relations ambassador, plans to actively participate in policy publicity for the remains excavation project by donating talents such as portrait rights and voice.
